This passive park was maintained as a wholesale nursery for over 15 years. The Town of Southwest Ranches purchased the property in 2004 for preservation of open space and for development of outdoor recreational amenities.

Currently open to the public are: parking, playground, restroom, a picnic shelter available for rental, and a multi-use field that can host baseball/softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and other sports. No permit is required for use of this field, which is equipped with field goals. Other sports equipment is available upon request at no charge with approved reservations.

Country Estates Park Policy and Rental Fee Schedule

Design of further amenities includes trailhead and other equestrian facilities, a fishing pond and pier.

Country Estates Park, also known as “Fishing Hole” Park will serve local residents as well as visitors from other places. The pastoral nature of the facility compliments the Town’s rural character.
